There is no question that Halloween is a bizarre day of the year. It's a day when millions of kids and adults alike get stoked about dressing up in Halloween costumes. Everyone relishes the idea of slipping into a disguise of some sort, including one of my all time favorites, the Grim Reaper costume!

Some of us like to dress to scare on All Hallows Eve. Halloween is, after all, a day for monsters, spooks, chills, frights and fun.

What better way to frighten people than with a dark and vicious grim reaper costume with bloody bones. We're talking about "Death" himself here.

If the reaper doesn't get you a rise out of little trick-or-treaters, I don't know what costume will.

Imagine the doorbell ringing. You glide soft toward the door. As you pull it open, the dark night drapes over your terrifying grim reaper costume. You stand tall and pale with your scythe in hand. At this point all the tiny trick-or-treaters gasp in horror.

Okay, granted it only lasts for a second, and then they just want their goodies. But, isn't it great to get that legitimate fright out of them on Halloween night? It's not just for your satisfaction, but it's for them as well.

Children look forward to a fright or two on Halloween. It's what we all expected as children and it made the night fun.
